Our stops in New York almost always involve a trip to the Metropolitan or MOMA museums. Such incredible institutions: magnificent collections, nothing between you and the great works of mankind and no photo restrictions. In most places we travel, spending time in a museum is time not spent on the street photography I enjoy. But a rainy day in 2008 meant a day spent in the Metropolitan. Ever since I have become fascinated with the connection of modern viewers and our forebears creative legacy.
