Although Hong Kong has changed fantastically in the 40 years since my first visit, little seems to have changed when I look at the photos from each year. There is always the combination of glitzy wealth above and the gritty life on the street below. There is probably much more glitz and a lot less grit each year but I seem to focus equally on each regardless.
