This has been the most difficult album to assemble. Despite having lived here for 30 years, I have few photographs of the place. Familiarity has bred disinterest and inhibition. Added is the sense that photos can be taken at any time - and so they aren't. In other albums an effort has been made to bring home the exotic world outside; yet the far greater challenge is to find the exotic amid the commonplace world at home.
